Measurement method of fire resistance of refractory bricks
People in the refractory industry should know that when downstream purchasing customers consult a certain refractory brick product, we should ask him: how high does the product you want have to be refractory? According to this knowledgeable person, we can generally infer what kind of material the customer needs.
So what is the fire resistance? How to measure the fire resistance of refractory brick?
Refractoriness refers to the resistance of refractory materials to high temperature without load, and the resistance to melting and softening of biomass. The chemical composition, mineral composition, phase distribution and combination of refractory have a decisive impact on its fire resistance. The most basic factor determining the fire resistance of refractory is the chemical mineral composition and distribution of refractory. Various impurity components, especially those with strong flux effect, will seriously reduce the fire resistance of refractory.
The fire resistance of refractory materials, especially refractory bricks, shall be measured in accordance with the Chinese national standard GB / T 7322-2007 (equivalent to the international standard ISO 528 – 1983). The key point of GB / T 7322-2007 is that the test material is made into a screenshot triangular cone, the length of each side of the upper bottom is 2mm, the length of each side of the lower bottom is 8mm, the height is 3omm, and the section is an equilateral triangle; The bending of the test cone and the standard temperature measuring cone of the test material until the top of the test cone bends and contacts the chassis. At this time, the representative temperature of the standard temperature measuring cone bent at the same time with the test cone is the fire resistance of the test cone refractory brick.
